FAQ Questions about creating a release

2.8 Can I change my artist name?

Yes, this is also possible for releases that have already been released. Please contact our support team via LiveChat or support@igroovemusic.com. We will then get in touch with the various stores so that all streams, followers and playlist placements are still present after the name change.

Important: When a name change is made, the cover of the release must also be updated, as the metadata must match the information on the cover.

As soon as we have received the confirmation of the stores, your releases will be unlocked and you can change the artist name. We will then re-deliver the releases to the shops.

Due to this manual effort we charge a one-time fee of 13 EUR / CHF 15.- per release.
